One camera instead of many - explosion-proof panoramic camera ExCam IPP3827

Keep an eye on the big picture with the multi-sensor camera: 180° panoramic view network camera with UltraHD resolution - first camera in ultra-compact dome housing

Size comparison of conventional dome housing vs. ultra-compact dome housing

Having a full overview of a larger area is extremely important for those responsible in many situations, especially when it comes to identifying dangers in this area. A panoramic camera is particularly suitable for monitoring large areas and squares.
The ExCam IPP3827 offers 7MP resolution (3712 x 1856p, 7 MP@30fps) and 4x 1/2.8" sensors. The multi-sensor camera enables seamless 180° horizontal and 90° vertical coverage. This is possible thanks to the 4 sensors. The individual images captured by the 4 sensors are combined into a seamless overall image, delivering 180° images without blind spots with UltraHD resolution in real time and a smooth, coherent video stream (with a minimum object distance of only 1m). Particularly noteworthy are the extensive analysis functions that the camera has thanks to the Deep Learning Processing Unit.

Expansion of ATEX and IECEx certificates - new dimensions - more possibilities
The multi-sensor camera is our first product in the newly developed protection system. Since the latest expansion of our certificates, a larger selection of housings is available, including the ultra-compact dome housing used here. The VA4.1 housing is a housing with a maximum outside diameter of 218mm. The shortest body length is only 236mm with dome. Unlike our other housings, the VA4.1 does not consist of a body and 2 flange components, but rather of a body-flange combination made from one component and only one flange. The newly developed dome is optimized for UV and scratch resistance. "The new protection system is ideal for installing the ExCam IPP3827, as the reduced wall thickness and the large dome mean the viewing angle of a high-resolution wide-angle camera module is maximized. This means that with the panoramic camera we have a high level of functionality in a very compact size; an extremely compact one and lightweight solution," says Alexander Kruse (project engineer).

The camera is approved in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX), IECEx, EAC-Ex, INMETRO, IA and PESO. You can find more information on the product page.
