Ultracompact LED spotlight for industrial areas

The liteServer Rough.micro is particularly suitable for use in demanding areas. It is the perfect complement to our cameras in low-light areas.
Camera images are scene-dependent and dependent on the lighting conditions! The liteServer Rough.micro have a built-in, energy-efficient, long-lasting LED. This is optionally visible white light or infrared. IR lighting (wavelength 855nm) enables unobtrusive surveillance even in the dark.

Ultra-compact process illumination – smallest housing for large illumination

Machine and apparatus builders have been equipping their products with our camera systems since 2009. The applications range from biogas fermenters to large industrial plate dryers to compact laboratory centrifuges. As different as the applications are, the problems with the configuration are the same: "Only one sight glass for camera and light", "Reflections on the sight glass with wide viewing angles", "Hot ambient or process temperatures". The requirements for the new liteServer series were clear: the greatest possible light output with wide illumination combined with a compact design was required. With a diameter of 48mm, the liteServer Rough.micro is extremely compact. This means that DN100 sight glasses can be used for luminaire AND camera for the first time. The materials used in the liteServer also allow use at an ambient temperature of +50°C.

Controllable infrared light variant for security applications

Visible light is not always useful. In safe industrial areas, critical areas such as gates and access systems, tank farms, hazardous materials stores or similar are often illuminated with infrared light and recorded by cameras. Many of our customers have requested such a solution for hazardous areas. This is now possible with the infrared light version of the liteServer. The liteServer can be switched manually via the camera or automatically via the camera's light sensor.

Robust lighting

During the development of the liteServer Rough.micro, great importance was attached to safety, mechanical precision, long-lasting LED technology and high-quality stainless steel. In addition, a modular structure was at the forefront of the development.
With regard to the technical characteristics, we have gone to the limits of what is feasible: In areas such as media resistance and ambient temperature, we are setting standards with the liteServer series.

Outstanding images despite low-light conditions

A high image quality is of crucial importance in order to clearly capture a process and to be able to clearly identify the persons or objects involved. Our liteServer series was developed to optimize the performance of our CCTV cameras in difficult lighting conditions (up to absolute darkness) and to provide an intelligent security solution.

Demanding environment - no problem

The liteServer Rough.micro works reliably in the temperature range from -30°C to +50°C.
Thanks to its high-quality materials, the liteServer series is resistant to a large number of media!
The specially designed GYLON flat seals (PTFE) not only make the camera waterproof (IP68) and water jets (IP66), but also resistant to a large number of chemicals. The extremely robust, scratch- and impact-resistant borosilicate glass of the windscreen fits seamlessly into the list of high-quality materials.

How is the illumination?

The user has 2 illumination variants to choose from. Depending on the application, he can choose between 2 different LEDs: neutral white or infrared.

Minimal installation effort & Power over Ethernet (PoE)

Thanks to Power over Ethernet (PoE), data and power supply can be routed in one cable. This means that only a PoE switch or a PoE midspan is required for the connection in the safe area. The cameras are supplied with power via Power over Ethernet (PoE according to IEEE 802.3af) via the network, eliminating the need for a costly installation of a separate power supply line. The liteServer Rough.micro can, for example, be delivered pre-wired with the RoughCam IPP1137-LE.
