Requirements of explosion protection in Russia.
EAC is short for Eurasian Conformity = Eurasian Economic Community. Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan have joined together in an effort to create a common economic space. Since 1 June 2012 the EAC continuously introduces new technical requirements, also for equipment used in explosive atmosphere. The GOST-R explosion protection certificate has been replaced by the new technical regulations TR CU 012/2011 "On safety of the equipment for work in explosive environments”.
