With the introduction of the new explosion-proof LED spotlight liteServer Ex.mini, SAMCON is launching an innovative solution that combines state-of-the-art safety technology with maximum operational flexibility. Designed for the use in potentially explosive atmospheres, such as in the chemical and oil and gas industries, as well as in logistics and production environments, the luminaire combines the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and ease of use.
The liteServer Ex.mini is, so to speak, the big brother of the liteServer Ex.micro, taking it a step further. The high-performance LED is housed in a slightly larger enclosure and more space, in this case, also means more features:
higher light output (16W LED)
more switching options: via an external trigger (e.g. a camera with motion detection) or via an internal trigger (local control mag.On = magnetic circuit)
The liteServer Ex.mini is particularly distinguished by its diverse switching options. Users can choose between several operating modes – from continuous operation to switching it on via an AXIS VAPIX output module or a process control system (DCS) as well as via our innovative and energy-saving on-site magnetic switching (switching via the internal trigger; mag.On) – everything is possible. Even the combination of controlling the liteServer Ex.mini either via a DCS or the magnetic switching is possible. This flexibility allows for optimal adaptation to the respective work environment.

Particularly the new magnetic controlled on-site operation offers a high degree of flexibility for the operator – either in the field or in the control room – without compromising on safety.
