Special conditions for safe use
- The device must not be used for applications in the mining industry (ATEX group I)!
- No holes, whether blind or clear, may be drilled in the ExCam enclosure other than already provided by the manufacturer.
- The requirements of EN/IEC 60079-14 must be applied.
- All used cable glands and plugs have to be certified.
- Attention: The pre-installed Ex-e terminal box has a different permissible ambient temperature range (-60°C ... +55°C) than the camera.
- Due to the high weight of the camera, we recommend the use of a mechanical fall arrester (e.g. safety wire) in addition to the standard wall mount or ceiling mount bracket.
