BREXIT and the consequences for explosion protection - our cameras are now also certified according to UKEX guideline SI2016:1107

With the United Kingdom (UK) having left the European Community (EU), also ATEX-products have been affected; the UK now has their own Ex-certifications. Since January 2021, UKCA-marking already is required for products being used in hazardous areas and which underlie CE-marking.

Since January 1, 2023 now also ATEX certificates are not valid anymore, instead, only Ex-certificates issued by the UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) are accepted. To being able to install and use our explosion proof cameras on the British market, too, we now have obtained for the entire ExCams series the UKEX-certificate. This means that our cameras now also meet the requirements of the British Ex-norm UKSI2016:1107 and are allowed to be put on the UK market.
